On the above
picture you can admire the fountain of Victoria Square in
Adelaide. The Victoria Square is located in the centre of
Adelaide. The square was named after Queen Victoria, whose
monument stands in the square. The Kauma, the aboriginal tribe,
knew the area as Tarndanyangga. The Adelaide Central Market is
located on the west part of the square. The fountain of the
Victoria Square was designed to represent the three rivers that
give water to Adelaide, the Torrens, the Onkaparinga and the
Murray. |
