On this
picture you can admire the beautiful Botanical Garden of
Adelaide. In the garden you will be able to discover beautiful
plants, lake and ponds. In the garden there is also a restaurant
and a kiosk. The restaurant overlooks the main lake situated in
the centre of the garden. You will also be able to admire the
Palm House, which was imported in 1877 from Germany. Gustav
Runge a German architect designed the Palm House. Because of
corrosion of iron glazing bars and became unsafe for the public
so it was closed in 1986. In 1992 the Palm House was restored. |
