This is a picture of the North tce (north terrace) railway station in Adelaide.        The Railway Station of Adelaide is located on the north side of the North Terrace, one of the main streets of Adelaide city, and west of the parliament house. In part of the station building there is the Adelaide Casino. The first railway station to open was in 1856. It served between Adelaide and Port Adelaide. Port Adelaide is a suburb of Adelaide, it around 14 kms, northwest, from Adelaide city. Port Adelaide is also the port of Adelaide. It lies on the Port River; it is a river that flow through Port Adelaide. One of the attractions of the Port River is the dolphins; they are the only dolphins in the world that live within a city. Port Adelaide is an old suburb of Adelaide, the site was officially declared as Port in 1837. Originally the harbour was called Port Misery and in 1839 the name was changed to Port Adelaide, the Port has also a Lighthouse. As it is a quite old suburb it has many colonial buildings as the Port Adelaide Uniting Church. Port Adelaide is very interesting place to visit and admire the dolphins in the Port River.
