Adelaide is a town, city located in South Australia and make
part of one of the largest cities of this continent. Adelaide
got its name from the Queen Adelaide who was the spouse of King
William IV. Founded in 1836 Adelaide was a planned city, which
means that it grew up with plans. Queen Adelaide born as
Princess Adelaide of Saxe-Meiningen in Germany on 13 August
1792, she was also known as The Duchess of Clarence and later on
she married the King William IV of United Kingdom, who was
Prince William, Duke of Clarence and son of King George III. The
Prince William was born on 21 August 1762 and died on 20 June
1837. He became the King of United Kingdom and Hanover as from
26 June 1830 till he passed away. Adelaide is a fabulous town
with rich history. |
