Discovered by Ernest Giles, the lake Amadeus is a huge salt lake
found south west northern territory, Uluru to be exact. This
lake was here since centuries back in time and has come to be
completely salted. This salty mud basin occupies a shallow but
very large are of Uluru and is said to contain at least some
water. It is astonishing to see how a lake has been salted up
after centuries and believe it or not even if is isn’t a normal
lake, it is beautiful, the place around it is always clean and
it is an area where many people visit. Observing the lake has
become one of the things everyone who visits the place does. The
view is magnificent too. |
