Sandstone forms part of the sedimentary rock sector. It is composed of sand sized minerals as well as grain rock. As you can see on this picture the colour differs from reddish brown to orange brown. Since the sandstone beds often form a high visible cliff certain colours can be identified within certain regions. They seem fragile and very easily eroded but this is not the case. They can even store water as they are porous. Certain types of sandstone are resistant to weathering and others are easy enough to be worked with. It’s a wonderful view that we are offered by nature. The mixture of these colours gives us the warmth sensation. The heat keeps the temperature high. Whereas if you dig up a little hole in the sandstone you will realise that the temperature within the sand is much cooler than thus of its surroundings. A very different emotion comes up. The scenery is beautiful and it can appreciated by many if you only take a minute to admire it.
