The Mount
Tempest is located on Moreton Island. The mount is a dune and is
may be the highest sand dune in the world. The Mount Tempest has
a height of two hundred and eighty metres above sea level. The
Moreton Island is the second sand island in the world, the first
is Fraser Island. Most of the area of Moreton Island is the
national park; it has an area of over nineteen thousand
hectares. Moreton Island can be visited by the Ferry or Barge.
The island has some small villages at Tangalooma, Kooringal,
Bulwer and Cowan Cowan. You can have a stay at the Tangalooma
Wild Dolphin Resort, there are also camping facilities proposed
to visitors. Moreton Island is quite popular for its sandy beach
and has also a large number of activities proposed. There are so
many things to see and to do when you are on Moreton Island as
the Jabiru Lake, fishing, the Cape Moreton Lighthouse and bush
walking. On Moreton Island you will be able to discover the
