On the picture
above you can see a plane of Quantas Airline. Quantas is the
largest airline of Australia. Quantas offers domestic fly and
international fly. Quantas has been founded in 1920 in
Queensland. At this time it was called Queensland and Northern
Territorial Aerial Service Limited. Quantas started to fly with
biplanes which carried one or two passengers. And later on they
started to fly with Boeing 747 which can carry around four
hundred passengers. Quantas Empire Airways has started to offer
services between Brisbane and Singapore and Imperial Airways
offered the rest of the services to London. The headquarters of
Quantas Airlines are located in Sydney and New South Wales. At
the Sydney Domestic Terminal you can discover a large heritage
collection of Quantas. It is open to public and free to visit.
It is open from Monday to Friday as from 9.30am to 4.30pm and it
is closed during public holiday. Quantas is considered as one of
the greatest world airlines. |
