You
will surely find many memorials in the bicentennial park in
Australia; they are there in memory of the Japanese bomber which
flew over the Darwin's harbour in 1942, which then sunk 21 of
the 46 U.S and Australian soldiers. 243 deaths! The park is
beautiful and offers a pleasant atmosphere with of course shady
paths so as to have a quiet walk or for a calm picnic with the
whole family and friends. You may also find a lot of information
of the past war and the allied armies. The memorials will also
provide you tragic information of long time back. The place is
quiet and appropriate for some relaxing days. |
