Behind these big and wonderful palm trees is the Darwin colonial
building. It is very big and beautiful as represented on the
picture and is one of the most visited areas of Darwin annually.
Since 1957 Darwin has been administered by the Darwin city
council. This spectacular colonial-inspired building is the
legislative assembly of the Northern territory; there all
important decisions concerning the place are taken by the
members themselves. It is a magnificent place with a beautiful
garden appropriate for a small quiet walk around. |
