The
HMAS Armidale is the lead ship of the Armidale Class Patrol;
they are still being built nowadays. The Armidale was officially
recognized in Darwin on the 24th June 2005. The Armidale is used
to protect the borders and for the protection of the fisheries.
They are very useful and many researches are done on board so as
to protect in the best ways possible the marine wild life of
Australia. It is the first of fourteen patrol boats with the
Royal Australian Navy. Armidale is a huge ship which transports
over 100 of people annually. The "Armidale" has now become the
responsibility of commanding officers as well as ship companies.
The latter is therefore in duty of making and keeping these
ships ready for any services which Australia would require. The
HMAS Armidale is recognized world wide and has done much good
for Australia by sailing the Pacific Ocean. |
