In
this park is situated a memorial of John Clement Wickham who was
a very good soldier in the world war, he was also very
courageous to go to war and fight knowing that somehow he would
not come back. He represented Australia proudly and therefore
deserved a special place in Australia; he lived in Darwin and
enjoyed spending time in this park. People thought it would be
best to build up the memorial there. The picture does not only
show us the memorial but also a splendid view of Darwin. There
are many different parks and areas where it is wonderful to
spend time. These places are very welcoming as well as Darwin.
As shown on the picture there is a beautiful blue sea behind.
There are many wonderful beaches in Darwin and the place itself
is visited several times annually. |
