Darwin is located in the Northern Territory of Australia and is
with its population of over one hundred and thousand is far the
most populated area of the territory. The Port of Darwin is
known to be the Australia’s Northern Gateway, Darwin is also the
capital of the Northern Territory. The port is the vital link to
the Austral Asia Trade route. For a long time Darwin port was
the main port for the export of live cattle but is now
developing a lot. It was a great opportunity for the city when
there started to be a growth in mining oil, exploration, gas
projects and also activities in the Timor Sea to develop its
