The Darwin harbour was named after Charles Robert Darwin who was a naturalist, he was born in 1809 in England in the family house the Mount House.  He was the first to explore the port on the "Beagle expedition“. This expedition took him five years and two third of this expedition was spent on land for studies.  There the evidence of the harbour's name. This harbour receives summer temperatures throughout the year and hardly has below the 20 degrees.
