In the past a war canon was used to explode enemy ships which came to fight Australia during World War 2 and to invade the continent. This war canon is among the last ones which have been used and it is obviously very old. Nowadays it is no more used. As you can see it was placed on the port so as to be able to attack the enemies in the best way possible. This war canon also makes us think about the entire soldier who fought courageously against the predators, and also all those who sacrificed their life for a nation. As you discover Darwin, but not only Darwin, other cities too, you will notice that there are many memorials in name of the Australian army. Some other in the name of the captain and nurses too. This is a thankful sign! Memories still stay even if the soldiers passed away.
