Long ago, when the aboriginal belief was still among the
strongest, cracked rocks were said to bring bad luck. They used
to say that when one of them broke the spirit living in them
died causing disaster. Each time this happened they sacrificed
an animal in sign of mercy to their god, thus being their
spirits. |
