Devils marbles are boulders or rocks which have been given a
mythological reason for being what they are now and where they
are. These rocks are several metres high and are extremely large
in size. For the tribes, found in Australia, these "rocks" are
not just there for decoration, they believe in their power. To
stick mostly to the scientific explanation, these rocks, named
devils marbles come from deep beneath the earth's surface. They
consist of granite and were formed about 1640 million years ago. |
