Wauchope, pronounce "war-hope" is a town
found in the state of Australia, New South Wales. It is also
found at about 406 km far from the state capital Sydney. The
town has a population of about 400 inhabitants. The basis of
Wauchope was the logging industry that for the early economy a
prosperity. Just near Wauchope is the devils marbles to be
visited if wanted. The town has now developed. It only started
to really exist at about the year 1836 when a certain captain
Robert Andrew Wauch who helped the town to become what it is
actually now. It has shopping streets, post offices and even
historical sites. |
