Lighthouses exist since ages and trill today have the same aim, prevention of crashes. There are different types of building; they don’t all have the same construction. The usual example is a tall tower with a huge bright bulb found at the very top which rotates showing the navigators their actual position towards the coast. When the light is on, it goes round and round. It can be seen miles away from its location. Lighthouse's light goes on when the sea is particularly rough, such as during a storm or wiliwilies. They are very useful for ships while wanting to anchor at any harbour.
