This is a small city found much northern of Australia. Nimbin is
not reputated for sugar of touristic purposes but more for
cannabis and several drug growth. Of course, importing,
exporting or even consuming cannabis is illegal although it is
done very openly on the local streets. This city, Nimbin, is
known to have a high tolerance of this plant which grows
extremely well there. To celebrate the harvest of locally grown
cannabis, a special festival is held every year. It’s called the
mardi grass festival. During this fest people can smoke the
plant while having cake and coffee. This festival, held in
Nimbin, lasts one night and is usually during the end of April
or beginning of May! |
