When you are visiting the Kakadu National park you will discover what a billabong is. Billabong is a stagnant lake attached to a waterway. The word billabong comes from Australian English. Billa means in Indigenous Australian creek and bong means dead. You can observe the picture and have an idea how a billabong look like. It would be a great place to be sitting there on the green grass looking at this water, listening to the birds and wind in the trees. You also can have a stay in the Aurora Kakadu. It is a pleasant resort to spend a nice vacation with family and friends. So while visiting Australia, you need to absolutely have a stop at Kakadu. There is also a large number of attractions in the Northern Territory of Australia.
