Northern
Australia is a term that usually includes the Northern Territory
and the territories and states of Queensland. Sometimes a part
of Western Australia is also included. Northern Australia is
almost about the half of the area of Australia, it has only one
fifth of the population and there is only Brisbane having over
one million people. But it has the main sources of export of the
continent which is coal from the Great Dividing Range and iron
ore and natural gas. This part of Australia has also very
interesting tourist attractions as the Kakadu National Park,
Great Barrier Reef, and Ayers Rock. The region is also quite
popular for its climatic conditions. Queensland has for capital
Brisbane and it is also the largest city. The economy of
Queensland had a real boom over the last twenty years in mining
and tourist. The area receives a large number of tourists.
Surfers Paradise is very famous for its beaches and luxury
