Yegge is one
of the six seasons of Kakadu region. Yegge is in April and May.
There is at this period of the year drying winds. It is also the
time that the bushes are burned which is a way to clean the
country and let new growth come. It is also the time that the
Eucalyptus start flowering. The other seasons of Kakadu are
Wurrgeng, Gurrung, Banggereng, Gunummeleng and Gudjewg. Kakadu
is divided into five sub regions; they are the lowlands, the
plateau, the floodplain, southern hills and tidal flats. When
you enter the Kakadu National Park one of the first place you
come along is the Mamakala Observation Point, the place is also
known as bird hide. Ubirr is one of the places where you will
discover the aboriginal rock paintings. Kakadu is a magnificent
