The Yellow
Waters form part one of the most popular place in the park. The
Yellow Waters billabong is located fifty two km south of the
Ranger Headquarters. There are so much other things to see in
Kakadu. Jabiru is a little town you will discover; the
Nourlangie Rock has over one hundred sacred area. The nourlangie
rock forms part of the area known as Mt Brockman Massif. There
are walks organized to enable guests to visit this spectacular
area. You will also be able to see the Jim Jim Falls which is
not very easily accessible, most of the time the falls don’t
fall as the water has dry up and when the falls are to be seen
it is not possible to access to the area. Some people access the
falls by helicopter or light planes. Another beautiful place to
visit is the south alligator river, you will see around
cockatoo, white egrets, buffalo and whistler ducks. There are a
large number of camping sites in the area of the park. |
