Snake can be
found while visiting the National Park in Katherine. Snakes are
reptiles; they are close family to lizards. Snake is known from
the old English word “snaca”. There are some lizards which are
legless that really looks like snakes. There are people who
really love snakes they are called “ophiophilia”, those who are
afraid of them are called “ophidiophobia” and someone who make
scientific studies on snakes is called an “ophiologist”. The
word “serpent” is an old synonym for snake but which is also
used in French language. The snake is a reptile that is not well
known till now as that snake has fragile and small skeleton
which makes fossilization not easy. |
