architectural buildings. Melbourne is home of great buildings as
the Flinders Street Station, a grand Edwardian baroque building.
The city of Melbourne, Australia has large number of
skyscrapers. It happened that Australia had once the third
tallest skyscrapers in the world but this building has been
demolished in 1980. The tallest building is The Eureka Tower
with a height of three hundred meters and is also as apartment
building taller than any others in the world. Here are some of
the tallest buildings since 1880, The Yorkshire Brewery with
eight storeys, built in 1880 designed by James Wood and has been
during ten years the tallest building in Australia. The Fink’s
Building is a ten storey building constructed in 1888 designed
by Twentyman and Askew but the building has been destroyed in
1897. The Australian Building was constructed in 1889 with
twelve levels and designed by Henry Kemp. During forty years it
has dominated the skyline of Melbourne, Australia. Constructed
in 1927-1929, it has been demolished for no important reasons in
