The Federation
Square is located in the city of Melbourne Australia and is also
known as Fed Square. The Federation Square has been designed by
Don Bates and Peter Davidson who won a design competition which
has been organized. The Federation Square is opposite to the St
Paul’s Cathedral and Flinders Street Station. The Federation
Square offers a lot of things to see. The Ian Potter Centre is
an interesting place where you will be able to discover over
twenty thousand Australian artwork as sculpture, paintings,
photography, and fashion. You will also discover the Australian
Centre for the Moving Image known also as ACMI is a museum where
you find moving images in all types of way; it is the first
museum in the world that provide moving images. Another
interesting place to visit is The Labyrinth which has an area of
one hundred and sixty square metres. And behind the square you
can have a visit to Birrarung Marr, the riverside park. |
