The horse statue you see on the picture is located in the federation square in Melbourne, Australia. The federation square is a very popular square in Melbourne where you will discover large number of bars, cafés and restaurants. The horse is located in front of the Australian Racing Museum Corner Swanston and Flinders Streets. In the museum you will be able to discover some of most important events in the racing history of Australia. The Australian Racing Museum was opened in 1981; there is only one of these types of museum about horse racing in Australia. The museum is open everyday as from ten am to six pm and is closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day. The museum entry costs for adult eight dollar and for children under twelve is free. The museum offers a lot of information about horses and racing. There is also a gift shop where you can buy souvenirs and gifts for friends and family. The Racing Museum is a great place to visit for adults and children. So while being in Melbourne do not miss to visit this fabulous place.
