Female Australian koala bears reach two to three years old.
These can reproduce one young for about 12 years. The male in
comparison reach three to four years. The young ones is born
hairless, earless and blind, thing which is amazing for a small
living thing. The latter is also named a joey. They stay hidden
in the mother's pouch for about six months during which these
get milk and only milk as "food". The new born stays usually
only two to three years in the mothers range, meaning that they
don't leave her during this period! |
