When someone
talks about Melbourne it is equal to shopping. For years now
Melbourne is known as the shopping capital of Australia. In
Melbourne there are so many things to buy and a large variety of
shops. Most of the shops in the city are opened seven days a
week and on Friday there is a lot of shops open till 9 pm. Here
are some interesting shopping areas, the Royal Arcade located at
355 Bourke Street, a very famous arcade in Melbourne constructed
in 1869 and is the oldest arcade of Melbourne, Australia. The
Block Arcade is located at 280-286 Collins Street and was built
in 1891. The Federation Square is a public square where you will
find large number of stores, cafés and restaurants. At the Queen
Victoria Markets there is over one thousand stalls and you will
find almost every type of things on the markets and do not miss
the Sunday Market at the Art Centre located at Corner St Kilda
and Southgate Roads. And of course there is also a China town in
Melbourne where you can find Chinese medicine, restaurants,
music and Asian groceries. There is also the Docklands,
Southgate Plaza, Bourke Street Mall and the Crown Entertainment
