picture. The construction of the Tower of Sydney started in 1970
and was opened to public in 1981. The designer of the tower was
Donald Crone. The tower is the tallest structure of Sydney and
second tallest in Australia. The tallest structure is the Q1
Building in Surfers Paradise, Australia. The Sydney Tower has a
height of three hundred and five metres and the Q1 building is
three hundred and twenty three metres high. The AMP Tower is
considered as the safest building in the world, there are fifty
six cables that stabilise the tower. The tower has four hundred
and twenty windows which are cleaned by a window cleaning
machine, the cleaning is done in two days. There are three
double deck lifts in the tower which needs around forty seconds
from top to bottom. The emergency exit of the tower is the one
thousand and five hundred stairs. It is a great experience to
have a visit in the tower of Sydney for adults and children and
visitors will have a fabulous view of Sydney city and even
