is a mechanical tracker action organ with 10,154 pipes by Ronald
Sharp, who is an organ constructor; the tracker action organ is
the largest in the world. The Grand Organ is a baroque style.
The construction of the organ was finished in 1979, only six
years after the opening. The designer of the Opera House is Jorn
Utzon. Jorn Utzon is an architect from Denmark. He was born in
1918 in Copenhagen. He was the one who won the competition
organised for the design of the Opera House of Sydney Australia.
The Opera House was opened in 1973 by the Queen Elizabeth II.
The construction of the Sydney Opera House started in 1958. The
Opera House consists of five theatres, the Studio Theatre, the
Playhouse, the Drama Theatre, the Opera theatre and the Concert
Hall with the famous Grand Organ. All visitors of Australia love
making pictures of the Opera House, it does not look like any
